Heroes & Generals unique combination of FPS and Strategy gameplay allows players to participate in the grand online war at hugely different. While it looks like World War II, gameplay feels as if it could be any war. THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY: Heroes and Generals is meant for fast play and action. There is little room for strategy, and not much to do besides destroy opposing players. Players will use cover, move against flanks, and in some cases find good sniper locations.
Consider the mods in game, while none are relistic, lets run with them a bit.Say you were a REAL sniper/markman, and they handed you a riffle. Well, both America and Germany would chery pick the BEST riffles from the asembly line for the marksman.

Compared to the other riffles given to every infantry man, the marksmen riffle's were considerably better being the top performers in the factory tests.Now lets talk charge. Any veteran sniper today will tell you that one of the snipers best kept secrets are their loads. Many good snipers will hand-load their ammo (or have the armory do it to spec) and have their own special mix's for the powder that they will not share.

The same principles applied back then.Now, scopes, most sniper rifles come with a stock scope that can be modified or swaped out at the sniper/marksmans will (as long as their commander is ok). Better strength, night vision addons, etc. Scope tech back then was limited but still, they had options.Lets talk about internals. Snipers had enough know-how to field mod their rifles.
Custom modding for faster cycles, lighter trigger pull, even changing out the barrel or adding flash supressors or counterweights. Some of these things were probably more common back then than they are now (moding the internals specifically).Point is, both in game and in REAL LIFE, the parts and ammo used can be customised to make the riffle more deadly. One shot kill weapons are hard to obtain (or costly to buy) and EXPENSIVE to maintain due to continual cost of repair and rearm.If it were a simulator there would be far more one hit kill weapons than one-fully-modded gun per side. One gun, expensive, ballanced as an arcade not sim.

RO is a great game that this game should def look at if it's looking on how to improve. Yes, And you can't make the claim that your game is 'realistic' when my bolt action rifle takes 4-6 shots to drop someone at close range. Alien invasion old game. Especially when that same person can do a 360 and 1 shot me with a 9mm smg round. Takes just 1-2 hits in close quarters, depending on where you hit or if you have mods.Stop missing and maybe you guys didn't need one hit mods. That's hard to obtain too. Takes a lot of dedication to play that long.One shot body shots should not be possible at further distances. It takes good aim to hit the head, not so much for the rest of the body. Why should players be rewarded for playing worse?(and btw, one shot kill mods are super cheap to maintain if you don't waste your shots).

Tank Weak Spots
Obviously every tank since armor 2.0 is now extremely OP and everyone knows it, Reto doesn't give a shigg and is farming you for your veteran membership and wallet warrior shekels. Light tanks take up to 4 Panzerschreck hits, usually more and everything tougher takes like 20 and you need an entire squad with AT to take out one. This is so that when you are completely fed up with the M2A2 spam absolutely everywhere you will use about 9000 credits in repair costs worth of AT in a futile rage every game so you can't get ahead. If you are one of these people, like myself, this guide is for you.
- Red means pretty much impenetrable.
